How we started

SUNPLUS was born and raised under the Southern California sun. Grown from our love for living a balanced, wellness-focused, outdoor California lifestyle. 

We took that same balanced approach to create ultra-effective, performance rich, healthy, eco-friendly sun care products designed to enhance your lifestyle under the sun.

SUNPLUS is made for everyday adventures, no matter how active or how relaxed, exotic or local, from sea to summit, sunrise to sunset.  Early morning yoga, spin or HIIT.  Beach, city or trail runs. Surf sessions. Long weekend rides or hikes.  Cheering on your kids from the sidelines. Or relaxing poolside, beachside, parkside, mountainside or anyplace outside.  Solo or with loved ones. 

We want sun and skin care products that feel good, take great care of our skin, don’t get in the way of our activities, are healthy, are made of the best ingredients and are environmentally sound.

We live our lives outdoors and under sun.  We are dedicated to our oceans, islands, mountains, trails, and parks we love so much. It is vital that these spaces thrive for us and our children. Everything we do is local, reducing our carbon footprint. We minimize our packaging to create less waste and are developing a line of refillable sunscreen to reduce pollution created by single use plastics. Our packaging is sustainable vegetable based and our ingredients are biodegradable, ocean and reef safe. In order to preserve ocean and natural environments, part of our sales are donated to select organizations. We made our sunscreen like a luxury skin lotion.  SUNPLUS is packed with ultra-healthy, skin nourishing, plant-based, vitamin rich, natural superfood ingredients, so it not only protects your skin from the sun’s harmful rays, it also moisturizes, soothes and protects your skin from pollutants and premature aging. It does not sting your eyes and is soothing enough for sensitive skin and children.
